Nature

There are three sulfur springs in the cadastral territory of Lipová. The memorial beech (Fagus sylvatica) also stands along the trail. Its age is estimated at 300 to 400 years; it is considered one of the oldest beech trees in the entire region. Its trunk circumference is 5.18 meters. The nature trail to the sulfur springs and cultural monuments in the cadastral territory of Lipová was established in 2005.

The Tatarka nature trail also runs through Lipová and the valley of the Lipovský potok.

Culture

The sacred architectural monuments include the Chapel of Our Lady of Sistine. It bears the year 1766 and is registered as an immovable cultural monument No. 1961. The chapel contains a statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. The local cultural heritage also includes the Chapel of Saint Wenceslas, which was built in 1929 at the expense of the residents of Lipová. A memorial plaque bearing the names of Lipová residents who fell in the First World War is located at this chapel.

A bell tower with two bells stands in the village square. House No. 79 is a monument of folk architecture dating from 1851 and bears monument registration number 1963. A stone cross with relief decoration, signed by S. Minařík in 1876, is protected as immovable cultural monument No. 1962. Thus, the named historical evidence ranges from an 18th-century building and the remembrance of those who fell in the First World War to folk architecture, a bell tower and a cross.

The nearest railway station is in Slavičín. Lipová lies on the Slavičín–Haluzice–Vizovice road.
