Tătărani: Culture, Hilly Landscape and Historic Sites

Tătărani lies in a hilly landscape. Its history is already documented in a charter from 1634: the village is mentioned in the document issued by Prince Matei Basarab Voievod.

The Sfânta Treime Church in Tătărani was consecrated on May 3, 2009. The stone cross in Tătărani, in front of the primary school, dates from 1738–1739.
