Klokoč currently has seven better-known mineral springs: Polom 1, Polom 2, Palčúrova, Podrichtárova, Jašova, Kubova, and one spring in the spruce grove on the Kocanský stream. The Polom mineral spring is considered the best-known and most visited mineral spring in Klokoč.

When comparing hotel offers in Klokoč, you can compare travel dates, room category and cancellation conditions. For the planned stay, these three details are shown as separate comparison criteria and can be viewed by travel period, room choice and the respective conditions. The three fields allow for a comparison based on the same offer features, even when comparing different travel plans.

Nature

The Jašov Medokýš, also called Jašova medokýš, emerges in the alluvial deposits of the Jašov stream and is frequently visited by local residents. The spring outlet of the Medokýš is concreted and protected by a shingle roof.

Culture

The Múzeum v starej škole is located in the original rooms of a two-class school. The preserved furnishings include school desks, the original blackboard and a wooden floor.

The museum houses ethnographic exhibits with historical connections, as well as various objects used for different activities during the past century. As there are no fixed opening hours, visitors can register by telephone or email.

The preserved municipal bell tower of Klokoč stands in the local cemetery, dates from around 1780 and contains a bell. The Church of the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary of Fatima in Klokoč was originally a funeral home.

Trails

The Park of the Bandit Paľo Demikát is an educational trail in the centre of Klokoč and follows in the footsteps of the bandit Paľo Demikát from Klokoč.

In the park, you can choose between a route along a stream and another route along an abandoned quarry.

The Hontianska cycling route passes through Klokoč and runs between Záježová, Vígľašská Huta-Kalinka, Klokoč, Stožok and Detva. For planning your day, different forms of activity can be considered separately. A comparison by type of activity, landscape focus and geographical context can help organise the options clearly. You can weigh these three aspects independently and decide the order of your plans yourself. Your own planning can be based on the desired activity, your preferred landscape focus or the route itself. You decide which of these perspectives takes priority. If several interests come together, the stated criteria can stand side by side without requiring you to commit to a single activity for one day. The individual aspects can also be examined one after another if you want to combine different focuses. Such a comparison keeps your daily planning open and specifies neither a particular priority nor a particular pace.

Information boards are located throughout the park; next to the Polom mineral spring, there is a tourist rest area.

The following are also available for comparison: Horný Tisovník, Podkriváň, Latky, Dettwa, Dúbravy, Stožok, Hriňová and Kriváň.
