Stahovica – Hiking to Velika Planina and Finding Hotels

The hike to Sv. Primož nad Kamnikom takes approximately one hour. Its starting point is in Stahovica, opposite the Calcit industrial building. This means that two named routes with different stated durations are associated with Stahovica: the approximately one-hour hike to Sv. Primož nad Kamnikom and the route to Velika Planina described as taking three hours. Both location references remain tied to specific starting points, including the bus stop and the car park near Calcit.

The valley is popular with cyclists. The hunting lodge of King Alexander is also located near the source of the Kamniška Bistrica; it was designed by Jože Plečnik in 1933.
