The Church of the Holy Trinity is located at Purgarija Čepić 29. The parish church was built in 1872. The Čepić parish is first mentioned in surviving historical sources in 1606.

The monastery in Kloštar is described as the first monastery in Istria and operated until 1782. Most of the monastery building has been preserved and is inhabited, and it is arranged around a courtyard with a central cistern.

The wider Kršan area is associated with the former Lake Čepić, the western Učka Massif, Kožljak Castle, and sacred cultural heritage. Lake Čepić was drained in 1932, creating approximately 1,500 hectares of new arable land.

Nature and Regional Cuisine

The Kršan Wild Herbs Festival combines talks, workshops, and gastronomic experiences, focusing on wild plants and sustainable living. At the 15th festival, visitors learned to identify wild plants and use them in cooking.

In a record from 1689, Čepić is associated with “black Čepić wine”.
