The most important landmark in Chorušice is the Baroque pilgrimage and Roman Catholic deanery Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Culture and History

The present Baroque building of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary was built between 1714 and 1716, replacing an older church considered to be in very poor condition. At the center of the presbytery is a miraculous image of Our Lady of Sorrows. A Baroque chapel dating from 1716 stands in the village square of Chorušice; its decoration is connected with that of the deanery church. Our Lady of Sorrows is depicted in the eastern niche facing the church, while the western niche features Saint John of Nepomuk.

The Staré krásnosti Museum includes a diabetes café. The museum specializes in the history of toys, dolls, and prams.
