Dlouhá Lhota: Hotels and Accommodation

Dlouhá Lhota is situated among fields and meadows. At the same time, there are regular bus and train connections.

Nature

The Klenice stream flows just outside Dlouhá Lhota. Near Dlouhá Lhota stands a pedunculate oak protected as a natural monument, with a trunk circumference of approximately 160 centimetres. In the immediate surroundings of Dlouhá Lhota are Telib [Březno u Mladé Boleslavi], a hill, U Formanské cesty [Dolní Bousov-Bechov], a hill, and Na Vinici [Březno u Mladé Boleslavi], also a hill. In the wider regional surroundings is Střelečská hůra, a mountain. In addition, hills on the horizon in the wider surroundings of Dlouhá Lhota indicate the proximity of Český ráj; the region offers opportunities for many excursions.

Transport

Bus route 724 connects Mladá Boleslav, Dlouhá Lhota, Libáň and Kopidlno and runs back again. Dlouhá Lhota railway stop was put into operation on 27 November 1905, together with the Mladá Boleslav–Sobotka railway section.

History and Culture

The settlement was formerly called Lhota Mravinná; according to some sources, it was first mentioned in writing in 1383. The railway stop has a preserved original single-storey station building in the standardised style of local railways. Regular church services are not held in the cemetery chapel in Dlouhá Lhota. In the wider regional surroundings is Valdštejn, a church.
