Culture and History

In Obrubce, the protected cemetery church has a Gothic core that was remodelled in the Baroque style in the 18th century.

In front of the entrance to the cemetery in VÅ¡eborsko, a restored Holy Trinity group stands beneath mature horse chestnut trees. The Baroque sculpture dates from 1721 and is registered as an immovable cultural monument. The church in VÅ¡eborsko was originally dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius and has been dedicated to the Holy Trinity since 1677.

The separate wooden bell tower in Všeborsko is a protected cultural monument. It dates from the mid-16th century and acquired its present form after a Baroque remodelling in 1721. The accessible bell in the bell tower was cast in Mladá Boleslav in 1662.

Landscape and Leisure

A mixed forest lies on the western and southern sides of Obrubce and is considered rich in mushrooms in summer. The surroundings of Obrubce offer opportunities for recreation through walks and cycling trips.

Geographical Location

The Bakov nad Jizerou–Kopidlno railway line runs through Obrubce, with a stop at Obrubce. The Hájek castle site lies in the cadastral area of Obrubce; it can only be reached by an unmarked path.
