Near Felbabka, the remains of shafts and a collapsed adit bear witness to the former iron ore mining on the western slope of Ostrý. Felbabka was first mentioned in writing in 1657. In addition, a small-sided football tournament was held in Felbabka for ten years.

Hiking and Landscape

The Okruh kolem Felbabky 1 circular route is 8.1 km long; 2.5 hours are allocated for it, and it starts at a parking lot in Felbabka. A hiking trail through Felbabka leads to the Ostrý hillfort. A blue-marked hiking trail from Podluh to Jince also runs through the village. Heat-loving vegetation grows on the dry shale slopes of Ostrý.
