The history of Hředle is reflected in its buildings, museum collections, local traditions, and traces in the landscape.

Culture

In the center of the village stands the Church of All Saints. Construction began in 1758; it was completed 15 years later and replaced an older wooden church. The church is made of roughly hewn sandstone blocks with a narrow intermediate layer of red sandstone.

The rural museum of Hředle is located on the village square near the Church of All Saints. The two-class school building No. 76, built in 1891, now houses the local museum. Archaeological finds approximately 6,000 years old are exhibited there. The museum also displays the working clock mechanism of the church tower clock, which was installed in the bell tower in 1853.

Another distinctive building is House No. 14, with its unusual Cubist façade. Hředle is a hop-growing municipality. In the cadastral area of Hředle, a coal-bearing rock formation led first to coal mining and subsequently to industrial extraction.

According to local tradition, the village nickname Bručánov is attributed to a bull that was hidden in the bell tower during the Thirty Years' War.

Nature

Two winter linden trees protected as natural monuments stand on the village square in Hředle.

Hředelský Háj consists of two wooded hills extending from the Homolka Massif. A long semicircular rampart is visible at Hředelský Háj; it may be a prehistoric fortified settlement from the Copper Age.

Opuka is a light-colored, lightweight, easily worked stone from the Mesozoic Era that formerly served as the most important building material in the surrounding villages.
