Hluboš: Hotels and Accommodation

The Hluboš château grounds comprise the main building, a château wing, the château park, a steward's building, and a chapel. Hluboš Château is a Baroque building that was remodelled in the Neo-Renaissance style and served as President T. G. Masaryk's summer residence in 1920 and 1921. Through Hluboš Park, some trees from America and China were introduced to the country for the first time.

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity was originally built in Baroque style at the end of the 17th century and remodelled in the Neo-Gothic-Romanesque style in 1877. The church preserves biblical scenes by Kramolín depicting Abraham and the angels, the Baptism of Christ, and the Sending Forth of the Apostles. The Trinity Column in Hluboš bears reliefs of Christ enthroned with a cross, God the Father holding a globe, and the dove as a symbol of the Holy Spirit.

The Church of the Most Holy Trinity stands prominently on a hill above the Litavka Valley and is visible from the summit of Plešivec, a mountain in the vicinity of Hluboš, as well as from Svatá Hora near Příbram. The mountains Kuchyňka, Velký Chlum, and Velká Třemošná are located in the vicinity of Hluboš. The Valdek Castle ruins and the Church of Saint Anne are also located in the vicinity of Hluboš.

In the wider regional area around Hluboš are Karlštejn Castle and the memorial to the Holocaust of Roma and Sinti in Bohemia in Lety u Písku.

Hluboš is served by six regional bus lines operating regularly. There are three stops in the administrative area: Hluboš, Hluboš – Loudilka, and Hluboš – Kardavec.

The privately owned Hluboš château grounds are open to the public under certain conditions. Visiting the gardens of Hluboš Château outside opening hours is only possible with the operator's consent.
