History and Architectural Heritage
Borek was founded in 1715 by Count František Thun. The original name of Borek was Franzdorf.
The “Venkovský dům” at Horka I No. 3 is a single-storey masonry country house with a log room and an adjoining stable. Its core dates from the first half of the 19th century. No. 1 was a single-storey log cabin from the early 19th century that stood on the northern edge of the village.
