Horní Slivno: Hotels and Accommodations
Horní Slivno combines a settlement first mentioned in writing in 1223 with historical local landmarks and a cycling route running through the village. The 29.9-kilometre-long cycling route 8146 continues level from Horní Slivno to Slivínko.
Culture and History
In the centre of Horní Slivno stands the Church of St. Martin on the village green.
The Hankovská tvrz was acquired by the Bezdružičtí z Kolovrat in 1485 and incorporated into the Košátky estate in 1486. A second tvrz stood in the northern courtyard on the northern side of the village; its lower foundation presumably forms part of the western courtyard building.
