Hudlice: Hotels and accommodations

Hudlice combines distinctive natural landmarks with clearly identifiable cultural points of interest. In particular, the viewpoints, the educational trail, and the local buildings give the destination a diverse character.

Nature and viewpoints

Hudlická skála is home to an almost 12-meter-long non-karst cave. From there, you can enjoy views of the surrounding landscape.

The Máminka lookout tower stands at the summit of Krušná hora and is a 33-meter-high wooden structure. The tower is open year-round, and admission is free. The panoramic panels provide information about the views of Klínovec and the Ore Mountains, the Central Bohemian Uplands, Říp, Ještěd, Bezděz, the Brdy Hills, Točník Castle, Kladno, and the Žižkov Television Tower in Prague.

Hiking and cycling

The Krušná hora–Hudlický vrch educational trail follows well-maintained and marked paths and is suitable for hiking and cycling. The main starting points are located at Na Vartě, Na Umrlčí, and Pod Chvojinkou; parking is available at these locations.

Culture

The Church of Saint Thomas is a Neo-Romanesque church built between 1874 and 1876. It is protected as a cultural monument, registered under the ÚSKP number 14317/2-320, and has been protected since May 3, 1958.

The chapel in Hudlice is a masonry building with an almost square floor plan, stucco decoration, and a pink-and-white plastered exterior. The Jungmannovy Hudlice celebration takes place every year in July at Josef Jungmann’s birthplace to mark his birthday.
