Korno: Hotels and Accommodation

Korno is located in the Český kras Protected Landscape Area. The Koda National Nature Reserve encompasses the cadastral area of Korno; this nature reserve contains important stratigraphic, paleontological, and archaeological sites.

History

A Celtic settlement, known as an oppidum, was located on the slope of Střevíc towards the Berounka.

The Neo-Romanesque chapel at the upper end of Korno village square dates from the 19th century. It stands on elevated ground above the village square and is accessible from the south via a staircase. A station of the Liteň educational trail is located by the chapel.

The farmsteads in Korno also mostly date from the 19th century. They are grouped around regular courtyards on plots of medieval origin.
