Krakov: Hotels and Accommodation

Krakov’s events calendar includes the children’s event “In the Footsteps of the Knight Brtník”. On August 24, 2024, this child-friendly event led through the forests and meadows from Krakov to Krakovec. Krakov’s events calendar also includes the Staročeské máje festivities.

Culture and History

The first written mention of Krakov dates back to the reign of King John of Luxembourg. A document issued by Albrecht of Kolowrat in 1450 records older privileges that Bohemian rulers had granted to the holders of Krakov and Krakovec.

Krakov’s present-day inn is housed in a listed building. One of the municipality’s most significant sights is Krakov’s spacious village green complex. The former U Bendlů inn at house number 41 was converted into a restaurant and two municipal apartments.
