Líský is located in the Džbán Nature Park. The Vápnomilný bor u Líského area protects calcareous forest-steppe pine forests and is designated as the Natura 2000 European site CZ0210726. The site was first designated on November 3, 2009, and covers 4.0755 hectares.
Nature
The Vápnomilný bor u Líského area is home to a relatively large and vigorous population of the small orchid creeping lady's-tresses (Goodyera repens). Rare specimens of the purple orchid (vstavač nachový), a European woodland orchid, grow on Líská stráň. A visit around mid-May is recommended for observing the orchids on Líská stráň.
Sightseeing
The Líský Lookout Tower is a 38-meter-high steel tower with an observation platform located 25 meters above the ground, accessible via 141 steps. From the Líský Lookout Tower, the view extends over the Kladensko, Louny, Rakovnicko and part of the České středohoří region. A marked path leads from the center of the village to the lookout tower, approximately 700 meters away.
Culture
Studánka Královka and its chapel are located in a birch grove on a hill several hundred meters north of Líský. The Královka Chapel above the spring is registered as an immovable cultural monument. Studánka Královka is associated with a legend according to which Eliška Přemyslovna hid the keys to the Bohemian Crown Jewels there while fleeing from her husband.
