Nebovidy: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture and History

The Church of St. Peter and Paul in Nebovidy was built between 1749 and 1758 to replace an older destroyed church, based on a design by Baroque architect Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. It is a single-nave building with a narrower presbytery, two sacristies, and a prismatic west tower. The church grounds are enclosed by a stone perimeter wall with a gate and a wicket gate.

Nebovidská tvrz probably originated in the second half of the 14th century and documents the character of a rural residence of the lower nobility at the beginning of the early modern period. It is a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The Nebovidská Venuše is a rare Neolithic female clay torso. It was found near Nebovidy and is now part of the archaeological collections of the Regionální muzeum Kolín museum.
