Tvrziště Volenovice in Plazy is classified as an important archaeological site and refers to a disappeared late-medieval fortification on the southern edge of the Valy settlement, in a small deciduous forest. In this deciduous forest lies the Volenovice castle site, with a barely recognisable circular core, an inner and an outer ring ditch, and traces of an inner rampart. The Volenovice settlement was abandoned at the beginning of the 16th century; finds from the site date back to the 14th century.
