Lhotka-Ostrovec: Hotels and Accommodation

Lhotka belongs to the municipality of Ostrovec-Lhotka, which is located in a recreational area. The municipality lies within the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area; the Zbirožský Stream is the watercourse associated with Ostrovec-Lhotka.

Nature and Landscape

The Kohoutov National Nature Reserve is located about four kilometres east of Ostrovec-Lhotka. The Lípa Nature Reserve lies in the northwestern part of the cadastral area of Ostrovec-Lhotka.

Lhotka includes 80 recreational properties, most of which were built in the picturesque valley of the Zbirožský Stream.

Culture and History

Lhotka was first mentioned in 1362. The small manor house in Lhotka burned down completely in 1888.

The Chapel of St. Adalbert was built in 1734 and renovated in 2012. The Baroque brick pilgrimage chapel is about the size of a small church and is located approximately 850 metres southwest of the village of Lhotka.

Kalousův mlýn, also known as Papírna, was established at the beginning of the 19th century and is located at 30 Ostrovec-Lhotka in Lhotka. The timber-framed Ostrovecký (Zímův) mlýn is situated about 600 metres west of the town centre. In 1714, Jankovský mlýn belonged to the Zbiroh estate and previously to Podmokly in the Křivoklát estate.
