Třeboc: Hotels and accommodations

Two distinctly different landscape areas meet in Třeboc: the western and southern parts of the municipality are free of forest and used for agriculture, while the eastern part is covered by a contiguous forest area.

Landscape and nature

The source of Pramen Třebockého potoka 1 lies on the northern slope of Džbán, directly beside the Kroučová–Třeboc road. The nearby area includes Džbán mountain and the Ke Hředlům hill [Mutějovice]. The Loustín and Pozdeňský les mountains [Mšec] are also located in the surrounding area.

The Džbán Nature Park lies in the wider regional surroundings of Třeboc. This hilly landscape on the border between Central and Northern Bohemia was designated in 1994 because of its exceptional and well-preserved landscape and natural character. The Uhelná educational trail runs through the eastern part of Třeboc’s cadastral area.

Townscape and architectural heritage

The historic centre of Třeboc lies around a spacious village green. The Opuková kaple, dating from 1889, stands in the village square.

Třeboc is also home to the Chapel of St. Adalbert, a Neo-Romanesque chapel from the late 19th century with a rectangular nave and apse. A polygonal sanctus bell turret is located on the ridge of its gabled roof.

Firefighters’ balls and church fair festivities are held in Třeboc. The Church of U Svatého Gotharda is located in the surrounding area, while the ruins of Zřícenina Pravda lie near Třeboc.

The ruins of Týřov and the Svatý Prokop monument are located in the wider regional surroundings of Třeboc.
