Nature
A notable natural area in Pňov-Předhradí is Pňovský luh. It lies on the left bank of the Elbe along the eastern edge of Pňov-Předhradí and covers approximately 187 hectares. The landscape, predominantly characterised by hardwood floodplain forest, preserves remnants of former Elbe river channels, known as oxbow lakes, and forms part of the Libické luhy European protected area within the Natura 2000 network. The Pňovský luh educational trail is 8.5 kilometres long and has 11 stops. It also features nine information boards, two interactive boards and three benches.
Culture
The filial Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Předhradí was built in 1775 and consecrated in 1780. It is listed in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under number 33211/2–1921. The name of the municipality of Pňov-Předhradí derives from its location below Oldříš Castle.
