Culture

The Catholic Church of St. Wenceslas in Pečky dates from 1913. It is a Neo-Romanesque building with a timber-beamed ceiling and Art Nouveau furnishings.

Construction of the Evangelical Church of Master Jan Hus in Pečky began on 16 May 1914; the first services were held on 2 February 1916. The complex is a unique example of early Cubism.

“Do pohádky” is an experience trail through Pečky prepared by the town’s cultural centre. Along the trail, visitors can follow the legends and fairy tales of Pečky. It was offered from 30 June 2021 until further notice.
