Pečice: Hotels and accommodations

Several mountains are located around Pečice: Bukovec, Velká Leč, Vinice, and Hrby. These named landscape features belong to the immediate surroundings of the town and complement the picture of a varied environment.

The Church of St. Lawrence is one of two immovable cultural monuments recorded for the municipality of Pečice. Its portal features recessed profiling, the grooves of which end bluntly in a sloping surface.

At the edge of Pečice, on the road to Cetyně, there is a wayside shrine known in Czech as Boží muka. In the village, a monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars on the village square near the church also commemorates the municipality's wartime history.

The historic building stock includes farmstead No. 15 in Drsník. It was formerly an inn and dates from the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century. The original boundary wall and remains of the adjacent farm buildings have been preserved.

The war memorial in Pečice commemorates the fallen members of the parish from 1914 to 1918, as well as the victims of the Nazi occupation from 1939 to 1945. A cenotaph for Václav Pecka is located in the municipal cemetery of Pečice.

The historic site “Lety u Písku. Památník holokaustu Romů a Sintů v Čechách” is located in the vicinity of Pečice. In the wider regional surroundings of Pečice are Hrad Zvíkov Castle, the Valdek Castle Ruins, and the Church of Svatá Anna.
