The present-day Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary stands in Poříčany. It was built as a late Baroque structure from 1750 to 1754 and consecrated on September 8, 1751. The church is an important example of late Baroque architecture in the Kolín area and was influenced by the work of Kilián Ignác Dientzenhofer. Since May 3, 1958, the church and its grounds have been listed as an immovable cultural monument in the Czech heritage register under number 18231/2-1939.
