Rpety: Hotels and accommodations

History and chapels

Rpety was first mentioned in writing in 1115. A chapel has been preserved on Rpety village square; the chapel's present form dates back to 1921. One chapel in Rpety is a Baroque niche chapel with a statue of a Baroque saint.

Mining history

From the second half of the 18th century, residents of Rpety worked in the nearby iron ore mine on Ostrý. The iron ore mined on Ostrý was transported to the blast furnace in Jince and to Komárov.

Hiking and horseback riding

A red-marked hiking trail runs through Rpety from Hořovice to Bludský mlýn. At Bludský mlýn, this red-marked hiking trail branches into a southern section to Plešivec and a northern section to the railway station in Lochovice. Cycle Route 302 is available to visitors in Rpety.

You can reach Jezdecký klub Rpety via Rpety village square: drive past the pond, cross a small bridge, and then continue uphill. Jezdecký klub Rpety offers trail rides. Rpety was formerly known for breeding excellent horses.
