The educational park in Hýskov replaced a former landfill and opened in 2015. It includes a path with trees, plants, and herbs, as well as information boards about the local natural environment. History and culture
The restored birthplace of František Nepil opened in 2015 as the Hýskov Community and Information Centre. The “Poznáváme Hýskov” educational trail consists of two independent circular routes that begin in the village square. Its route presents the history and legends of Hýskov, the meanings of local field names, and the municipality’s natural attractions.

Hýskov hosts the recurring night event “Noční soutěž mladých hasičů”. It is a nighttime firefighting competition for children and young people.
Getting around
In Hýskov, a footbridge connects the two banks of the Berounka. The cycle path from Nižbor to Beroun also runs through here.
