The historic center of Třebovle contains an archaeological site with settlement traces from the Linear Pottery culture, the Bell Beaker culture, the Lusatian culture, and the Knovíz culture, as well as from the transition between the Late Middle Ages and the Early Modern period. The site extends around the village square of Třebovle along the road to Kouřim.

Culture and History

The Church of St. Bartholomew complex comprises the church, a cemetery wall with a gate, and a bell tower. The entire complex is registered as an immovable cultural monument of the Czech Republic. The church itself is a remarkable early Gothic building constructed toward the end of the second third of the 13th century. Once a year, a pilgrimage mass is held there on the occasion of the Feast of St. Bartholomew.

The Chapel of St. John of Nepomuk contains a Baroque group of figures made from red Nučice sandstone, dated to 1727. In 1772, the abbot of the nearby Sázavský klášter, Leandr Kramář, purchased two previously separate farmsteads and united them into a single complex, which has since been called Sázavský dvůr. The building of the Lower Court (Dolní dvůr) within Sázavský dvůr is currently not open to the public.

In the wider regional surroundings of Třebovle lies Kačina Chateau, a sight considered to be a castle.
