Tři Dvory: Hotels and accommodation

The landscape of Tři Dvory is shaped in the southeast by the last foothills of the Železné hory Mountains and by the Elbe. Eklogit u Tří Dvorů is registered by the Czech Geological Survey as an interesting geological site. The rock consists of amphibolite and garnet-bearing eclogite.

Nature and activities

The Eklogit u Tří Dvorů quarry is located on the northwestern edge of Tři Dvory and is freely accessible. Between Tři Dvory and Kolín, there is a paved and illuminated cycle path that can be used by pedestrians, cyclists and inline skaters.

Leisure and surroundings

There is an outdoor swimming pool in Tři Dvory. Zámek Kačina Castle is located near Tři Dvory. In the immediate vicinity are Hořánck Mountain and the hills of Diviška, Konárovický vrch and Na Kuklách.

History and culture

The first written mention of Tři Dvory dates from 1347. In the spring of 1690, Tři Dvory burned down completely. After the fire, the village was completely rebuilt closer to the Elbe. The monument to those who fell in the First World War in Tři Dvory dates from 1921. Ceramic fragments from the La Tène period, that is, from the 3rd to 2nd century BC, from the Tři Dvory area are housed in the museum in Kolín.
