In the upper part of Zahořany, the monument to the fallen of the First World War serves as a shared starting and finishing point for two cycling routes: the Blue Circuit – In the Footsteps of the Past cycling route and the Green Circuit cycling route can both be started and finished there.

There is a rest area and a drinking fountain at the same monument. The Green Circuit is marked throughout with green tourist cycling route signs.

Zahořanský rybník was fully revitalized in 2018–2019. In 2025, fishing there was permitted exclusively on a catch-and-release basis; every fish caught had to be returned to the water immediately. Also in 2025, fishing was permitted only from the dam and from the right or left bank. Fishing from the beach and at the inlet was prohibited.

The Zahořanská 10, held in 2025, featured a 10.2 km forest course with 250 metres of elevation gain. Teqball can be played by two or four players.
