The Miličínska Trail is a newly signposted tourist cycling and hiking loop. It is suitable for cyclists and pedestrians; its Záhoří section passes through a village with a typical village green layout. The loop connects Miličín with the eight local districts of Kahlovice, Malovice, Nasavrky, Nové Dvory, Petrovice, Reksyně, Záhoří, and Žibkov.
History and Villagescape
Since the 15th century, Záhoří u Miličína has appeared in historical sources under the name Německé Záhoří. In 1571, Vilém of Rožmberk purchased Záhoří; as a result, the village once again became part of Miličín.
In the lower part of the village green in Záhoří u Miličína stands the Záhořský dub Ochránce on the dam of a pond. The Záhořská zvonička is a chapel next to the fire station in Záhoří. It dates from 1920 and formerly served mainly for tolling the death bell.

In the wider regional surroundings of Záhoří u Miličína are Javorová Skála Mountain, Smrčí Mountain, Velký Blaník Mountain, Konopiště Castle, Žebrák Mountain, and the churches of Svatá Anna, Loreta, and Svatý Jan.

The children's fishing event “Dětská rybářská soutěž Záhoří” was held for its sixth edition at the fire-water reservoir in Záhoří.
