Konecchlumí: Hotels and Accommodations

Konecchlumí can be understood through two very different features: Hradiště Hůra is an Iron Age hillfort, while Konecchlumský mokřad is a protected wetland in the northern part of Konecchlumí. Its cascade of eight pools provides a habitat for numerous plants and animals.

Culture and History

Hradiště Hůra covers 0.75 hectares and is protected by a rampart and a ditch. The smaller Hradiště Hůra site can be reached via the red-marked trail eastwards toward the summit of Hůra.

The former Tvrz – sýpka fortress was converted into a granary and is located in a farmyard in the northern part of Konecchlumí. Its complex includes a stately two-storey building with remnants of Renaissance sgraffito on the façades, as well as an enclosing wall with arcade arches.

On the sandstone mound of Vilém Konecchlumský, the lion faces toward Prague. Kostel sv. Petra a Pavla contains 14 Stations of the Cross panel paintings by Vladimír Komárek; they were consecrated on March 31, 2001.

The wider regional surroundings of Konecchlumí also include Lázně and Valdštejn. Lázně is a site considered to be a church; Valdštejn is likewise a site considered to be a church.

Nature and Landscape

The Konecchlumský mokřad educational trail serves the residents of Konecchlumí as a place for recreation, learning, and gaining knowledge about nature.

In the immediate vicinity of Konecchlumí lies Maxinec (MLázovický chlum), a landscape feature considered to be a mountain. In the surroundings of Konecchlumí lie the landscape features Přivýšina and Tábor, both considered to be mountains.
