Petrovičky: Hotels and accommodations

Petrovičky combines a history dating back to the 12th or 13th century with a landscape characterized by orchards. The village brings together historical traces, regional cycling routes and apple cultivation.

Culture and history

The bell tower of Petrovičky still stands in the village center today. On January 4, 1766, a bell was consecrated in Petrovičky for the bell tower in honor of Saints Joseph, John and Paul.

The village’s older history is also documented: In 1511, the Petrovičky fortress, the village of Pšánky and Kanice, together with the farmyard, were sold to Poplužným. The site of the former Petrovičky fortress is of interest to tourists and lies on a gentle rise on the right bank of the Bašnický stream.

Landscape and fruit growing

Petrovičky is surrounded by orchards. Fruit, especially apples, is grown in Petrovičky. The orchards create a distinctive atmosphere, particularly during the spring months.

Cycling route

A regional cycling route leads from Petrovice via Petrovičky to Bříšťany. The route through Petrovičky runs along paved roads and is suitable for trekking bikes.
