Židovice: Hotels and Accommodation

Židovice lies in the agriculturally oriented landscape of Novobydžovsko. A large part of the area is intensively used as arable land, while the remainder consists of meadows. The village landscape features rural architecture and public green spaces.

Landscape and Trails

The local biocentre LBC 8 is located in the southern part of the cadastral area; meadows along a watercourse lie in its vicinity. The local biocorridor LBK 6–7 runs along the eastern edge of the built-up area of Židovice and along a road.

Marked trails for hiking and cycling are designated in the territory of the municipality of Židovice. The village is also situated on Class III road III/28033, which provides road connections to the surrounding settlement centres.

Culture and History

The statue of Saint John of Nepomuk in Židovice is registered as an immovable cultural monument in the Central List of Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under registration number 35241/6-1456. Židovice is also home to the birthplace of Bohumír Bradáč, the former Czechoslovak Minister of Agriculture and later Minister of National Defence.

The local cultural heritage also includes an example of old agricultural technology and the Sokolovna, built in 1929.

The hills of Na Průhoně [Chroustov] and Zlámaná [Kněžice - Dubečno] are located in the immediate vicinity of Židovice. The surrounding area also includes the U Borku hill [Záhornice u Městce Králové] and Kamenec hill.
