Culture and History

The Chapel of the Name of the Virgin Mary in Kramolna was solemnly consecrated on September 15, 1862. The Sýkora Chapel, also called the Chapel of the Name of the Virgin Mary, is an immovable cultural monument in Kramolna.

At a community meeting, it was decided to build a chapel after the older wooden bell tower had fallen into disrepair. The bell of the Chapel of the Name of the Virgin Mary had been buried under a tree stump at House No. 16 and reappeared on October 28, 1918.

The Náchod–Vysokov–Václavice 1866 educational trail continues to Kramolna. The section of the Náchod–Vysokov–Václavice 1866 educational trail in Kramolna follows the route along which soldiers marched to Branka Hill, the main site of the Battle of Náchod.

The tennis courts in Kramolna can be rented by the public; racket rental and beginner courses are also offered. After the game, seating and drinks are available.
