Suchý Důl is characterised by sandstone formations, viewpoints and gorges, making it suitable for walks as well as more demanding excursions.

Hiking and Nature

Marked hiking trails lead through Suchý Důl and its surroundings, offering views of Broumovsko and Policko. The Suchý Důl educational trail is an easy, undemanding route that takes approximately 1.5 hours. In Hájkova rokle, a small waterfall cascades down, known as Suchodolská Niagára. Čertova skála is a free-standing rock formation on the path from the upper chapel to Hlavňov.

Cycling Routes

Three cycling routes pass through Suchý Důl. The cycling routes passing through the village also cross the mountain ridges in the Broumovské stěny National Nature Reserve.

Culture and Traditions

The Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes was built in 1883 in Ochozský lesík. The Vambeřická cesta runs through the southern part of Suchý Důl and is marked with small monuments and crosses. The Way of the Cross with Soudní brána consists of 12 stations, begins at Soudní brána next to a forest spring, and was completed in 1893. Since the consecration of the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary on 8 September 1990, the Rosary Brotherhood has regularly held prayers and religious services there. All traditional holidays are celebrated throughout the year in Suchý Důl and Slavný.
