The approximately 19-kilometre-long Cyklookruh Rozkoš connects municipalities around the Rozkoš Reservoir, including Velká Jesenice. The circuit includes rest areas, shelters, bicycle service stations, bicycle stands, and charging stations for electric bicycles.

Culture

The Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie church in Velká Jesenice is a branch church and was formerly a parish church. It was already mentioned as a parish church in 1384. A church service is held there on Sundays at 10:00 a.m., except on the last Sunday of the month.

The Pomník Jendy Hofmana monument was created in 1926–1927 by the brothers Josef and Antonín Wagner and has been protected as a cultural monument since 1995. It is located next to the Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie church.

The Socha sv. Václava statue was created by the local merchant and self-taught sculptor Jan Haž, also known as Háž. It has been protected as a cultural monument since 1995. It stands on the upper edge of Velká Jesenice at the intersection of Road II/304 and a local road.

Chapel on Varta

The Chapel of sv. Františka Serafinského, built in 1868 in the Neo-Romanesque style, stands on Varta above Velká Jesenice. It has been protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic since 1995. In 2025, it was freely accessible.
