Dolni Dvur: Hotels and Accommodation

Dolní Dvůr lies in the valley of the Malé Labe and its tributaries and extends up to Liščí hora in the summit areas of the national park.

Winter Sports

The Luisino údolí ski area has two drag lifts, 500 and 300 metres long respectively. The ski slopes are of easy or intermediate difficulty. Artificial snowmaking is intended to ensure ski conditions throughout the winter sports season.

The Ski Family Dolní Dvůr ski area is primarily geared towards family-friendly recreation; it also has an equipment rental service. For cross-country skiing, Dolní Dvůr has trails that are connected to the main cross-country ski routes; at the same time, there is a connection to the main cross-country ski routes in the Krkonoše Mountains.

Hiking and Nature

In summer, numerous hiking trails are available in Dolní Dvůr. A yellow hiking trail leads from the church in Dolní Dvůr past the Chapel of Saint Michael the Archangel.

Skřítkova hra leads to six viewpoints distributed throughout the surrounding area. The viewpoints of Skřítkova hra are equipped with information boards containing questions about animals and plants of the Krkonoše Mountains. There is climbing terrain in the former quarry of Dolní Dvůr.

Culture in the Village

The carillon at the Church of Saint Joseph plays four melodies that change according to the season; at Christmas, Christmas carols are played.

Getting There and Other Places

From Vrchlabí, the route follows Road No. 14; in Lánov, the road to Dolní Dvůr branches off.
