Paths and Routes

The KRNAP excursion route “Z Temného dolu Křížovou cestou k Vápence a přes Lysečiny zase zpět” leads through Dolní Lysečiny. The road at the junction in Dolní Lysečiny is also signposted as cycle route K1B from Hříběcí Boudy to Lysečinská bouda. The 36-kilometre cycle route K1B from Lysečinská Bouda to Hříběcí Boudy also passes through the village; it is classified as challenging and runs over asphalt and paved surfaces.

For hiking, the blue-marked route 1819 is listed. It leads from the centre of Horní Maršov through Dolní and Horní Lysečiny to Lysečinská Bouda.

Nature

The Lysečinská skalní jehla rock formation is located in Dolní Lysečiny, approximately 50 metres north of the confluence of the Lysečinský potok and Albeřický potok streams. It is situated in the Krkonoše National Park and is a geomorphologically distinctive, easily accessible outcrop of crystalline limestone. The rock reaches a height of approximately 8 metres.

Several named landscape features are also located around Dolní Lysečiny: Łysocina and Borowa Góra are peaks, Černá hora is a mountain, and Karkonosze - Łomniczki is a waterfall.

Culture and History

The pair of bridges in Dolní Lysečiny consists of single-arched, vaulted stone bridges made of local rubble stone. They crossed the Lysečinský potok as part of an old route that led through Dolní Lysečiny and Albeřice to the border.
