Winter and skiing

Live Park Javor offers children and beginners a learning area, as well as ski equipment rental and a ski school.

Nature and trails

Obří důl is a nature reserve where, among other plants, alpine pasqueflower and butterbur grow. A marked trail leads through this area to Obří sedlo and onward to Sněžka.

The Hnědý vrch lookout tower offers views of the main ridge of the Krkonoše Mountains, including Luční hora, Studniční hora, Sněžka, and Růžová hora. The Pec pod Sněžkou–Hnědý vrch cable car takes visitors almost all the way to the lookout tower.

Culture and local history

In the chapel in Obří důl, photographs and texts provide information about the natural disaster of 29 July 1897. The educational trail “Dead Wood in a Living Forest” begins at the same chapel.

The “Around Pec” walking trail begins at the square by Hospoda na Peci. Information boards along the trail provide information about the history of the mountain town of Pec pod Sněžkou.

Brewery and special experiences

Pecký Pivovar offers guided brewery tours with tastings of its own beers and other culinary specialties. It also offers beer baths in a whirlpool tub or on a heated double bed.

Guided excursions

The KRNAP Information Centre in Pec pod Sněžkou organizes guided excursions for groups of five or more people, led by a qualified and experienced guide.
