Lampertice: Hotels and Accommodation

The green-marked Bernartice–Lampertice–Žacléř hiking trail runs through Lampertice. The village lies among wooded hills near the Polish border.

Nature

The mountains Královecký Špičák, Szeroka, Mrowiniec and Końska are located in the vicinity of Lampertice.

Culture

The Church of the Ascension of the Lord in Lampertice is a large single-nave building with a rectangular floor plan and a lower apsidal end. It dates from 1840 and was rebuilt between 1906 and 1911. In the Chapel of the Ascension of the Lord, at the rear of the chancel, there is a blind window with an iron rose window made of blue, green, yellow and violet stained glass depicting a six-pointed star.

At the end of Lampertice, near the turn-off to Žacléř, there is a sandstone quatrefoil cross. There is also a sandstone cross near the church beside a road, with a negative relief of a medieval sword on its front.

Kreppelhof Castle is located in the wider regional surroundings of Lampertice. The Cistercian monastery in Krzeszów is situated near Lampertice. The ruins of Zamek Schwarzwaldau and the ruins of Spalona Strażnica are located in the wider regional surroundings.

History

The operating buildings of the Jan and Julie mine shafts in Lampertice are cultural monuments. In the cadastral area of Lampertice, the Žacléř Mining Museum presents the technology of underground hard-coal mining at the facilities of the former Jan Šverma mine.

The Žacléř Mining Museum also offers the opportunity to visit part of the Julie shaft, a ventilation tunnel and the equipment of the fan room. In suitable weather conditions, the 52-metre-high headframe of the Jan shaft offers views of the panoramas of the Krkonoše Mountains and the Vraní hory mountains.
