Kohoutov: Hotels and Accommodation
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Kohoutov was originally built as a school chapel in 1752 and was converted into a Baroque church in 1788. Since 25 July 1994, it has been protected as an immovable cultural monument. Nearby, cycle route 4322 begins in Kohoutov and leaves the municipality in the direction of Hajnice.

The listed Baroque building of the former school No. 74 houses the Keramické studio Jarmily Tyrnerové.

The Naučná stezka hraničních kamenů educational trail leads from Kocbeře eastward to Kohoutov. It is less than two kilometers long; at its stations, it covers settlement, the rule of Count Špork, and the forests and sandstone around Kocbeře.

The wetlands in Kohoutov that have not yet been destroyed by land reclamation create an exceptional environment found in only a few places in the Czech Republic. The Kladrubský potok flows naturally through the valley around which Kohoutov is situated; increased moisture accumulates there. Snowdrops begin to bloom in Kohoutov in March.
