Fleißen: Hotels and Accommodation

In Plesná, the Plesná Exhibition presents the Czech-Bavarian history of the war and post-war period. It also explores the area’s shared geological past and illustrates, through the story of Adolf Penzel, the son of Plesná’s last German mayor, how people of two nationalities lived together in the Czech-German border region.

The TOSTA Gallery hosts temporary exhibitions of visual art and offers workshops for children.

The Protestant church in Plesná is a Pseudo-Renaissance building with a tower, constructed in 1847. It has a Baroque altar with paintings of Christ on the Mount of Olives and the Last Supper. At the same time, it was the first Protestant church in the Cheb district with its own parish.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Plesná dates from the 18th century. The originally Baroque church was remodeled in the Empire style in the 19th century. In Lomnička, the Church of the Sacred Heart was consecrated to the Heart of Jesus Christ in 1895.

The Jewish cemetery in Lomnička was established in 1822. From Svobody Square in Plesná, it can be reached by following the yellow hiking trail marker in the direction of Lomnička. An educational trail in Lomnička leads to the Jewish forest cemetery.

The Radonka Spring is considered the most radioactive surface spring outlet in the Czech Republic.
