The Kozlov archaeological site in Košov is classified as an important archaeological locality.

Culture and History

Kozlov Castle had a single-nave oval layout, largely enclosed by a ditch and an embankment. The castle contained an underground passage carved into the rock, which led into a deep shaft.

Nature

The Cidlinský hřeben natural monument lies between Pekloves and Košov. The natural monument is protected by a woodland complex with significant herbaceous undergrowth and the largest occurrence of wood ants in the Podkrkonoší region.

Marked Trails

A marked route runs through KoÅ¡ov, Hrádka, Ředice, Kozlov and the Smetanova vyhlídka lookout point. The Golden Trail of the Bohemian Paradise passes through KoÅ¡ov; one of the variants listed there is 26.5 km long.

The local Czech Tourist Club maintains the network of marked hiking trails in the Lomnicko area.
