Culture and History
The Trúba Tower was converted into a lookout tower in 1904. Štramberk also has a unique urban ensemble of log cabins dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. The castle grounds are freely accessible to the public year-round, except during announced events with an admission fee. A valid ticket is required to enter the lookout tower.
Nature
Šipka is designated as a national nature monument. Šipka Cave is freely accessible throughout the year. The lower jaw of a Neanderthal child was found in the cave in 1880.
