Culture and history

The church dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius is a listed monument and the landmark of Tísek. The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius was consecrated on 22 July 1928 by Archbishop Přečan.

The Vildštejn ruins are located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek.

Nature and surroundings

The Oderské vrchy Nature Park is part of the Nízký Jeseník. Mečník Hill [Těškovice] is located in the immediate surroundings of Tísek. Podklan Hill [Ostrava - Zbyslavice] is located in the surroundings of Tísek. Přílet Mountain is located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek. Vinná hora Mountain is also located in the wider regional surroundings of Tísek.

The Jamník fishing waters are designated as a non-trout fishing area ČRS No. 471 145. Anglers from outside the area may fish there only with a fishing permit issued by the Tísek Municipal Office.

Cycling and hiking

The Bílovecko–Dolní louky cycle route passes through Tísek and is 28 km long. The 47 km-long Bílovecko–Kolem 18. poledníku cycle route also passes through Tísek.

From Tísek, the yellow-marked Jamník–Údolí Niva hiking trail leads south to Bílovec and north to the Panský Mlýn trail junction near Kyjovice.
