Bohuslavice: Hotels and Accommodation

The Church of the Holy Trinity is a single-nave Baroque church dating from 1747. Its tower stands behind the presbytery and is crowned with an unusual dome.

Nature

The area around Špakovský rybník forms a quiet zone in the centre of the village of Bohuslavice. The Bohuslavický stream flows through Bohuslavice and empties into the Opusta River. In the southern part of Bohuslavice, there is a cascade of fish-farming ponds with very diverse flora and fauna. The forests and hills in the northern part belong to the Hlučínská pahorkatina.

The forests around Bohuslavice offer opportunities for leisurely walks and rides on newly established cycle paths.

Culture

The interior of the Church of the Holy Trinity features illusionistic frescoes by Matyáš Lassler. The Vlašanky folklore ensemble, founded in Bohuslavice, performs at folklore festivals and other cultural events. Paintings by folk artists with a connection to Bohuslavice or photographs are exhibited at the annual Anenské slavnosti festival. The annual fish harvest at Špakovský rybník is the most important event of the fishing year in Bohuslavice.
