Čelechovice between Haná and the Oderské vrchy

Čelechovice lies in a valley of gently undulating loess hills, at the transition between Haná and the last foothills of the Oderské vrchy. Čelechovice is halfway between Přerov and Olomouc. The first written mention of Čelechovice dates from 1190. In 1190, Čelechovice was owned by the Olomouc Chapter. The Chapel of St Anthony and St Wendelin stands by the road in the village centre. The chapel dates from 1825 and was reconstructed in 2005 after a severe storm.
