Císařov blends into the landscape of Haná. The village was established in 1785 as a new municipality with 50 building plots; it was originally intended to be called Joseflust.
Villagescape
Císařov was built with two rows of houses facing each other and evenly spaced throughout, extending from northwest to southeast. Farmstead No. 45 is listed as a cultural monument in Císařov. It is a single-storey residential building with a covered passageway and former servants’ quarters, as well as a rural structure dating from the late 18th century; its façade facing the village square is decorated with original stucco plasterwork.
Culture
In the village square in front of House No. 6 stands the statue of Saint Anne Selbdritt. It is a monumental late Baroque sculpture dated 1795. The statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was erected in Císařov in 1900.
Landscape
The marked cycle route No. 5042 connects Prostějov and Přerov via Císařov. In the northern part of Císařov, visitors can see a cascade of ponds with protected animal species along this cycle route.
