Culture and Townscape

In the upper center of Lhotka lies an almost regularly triangular village square, bordered by older, larger farmsteads with complete agricultural sections. The village square is one of the most valuable components of the Lhotka village heritage conservation zone.

In the wider regional surroundings of Lhotka, Kostel sv.Michala and Kostel Panny Marie Sněžné are cultural landmarks; both are churches. The cultural monuments Pomník obětem 1. světové války and Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého can also be found there.

Geographical Location

Lhotka lies in the southern part of the Nízký Jeseník geomorphological unit, within the Tršická pahorkatina and Přáslavická pahorkatina subregions. The area around Lhotka forms a broadly rounded, branching ridge that transitions into the steep slopes of the Olešnice Valley and the valleys of its small, periodically flowing tributaries.

Nature and Landscape

The Lhotka u Přerova natural monument protects communities of acid-loving dry grasslands of the Koelerio-Phleion phleoidis alliance, with occurrences of endangered plant and animal species on predominantly south-facing slopes above the Olešnice stream. The geologically significant Lhotka u Přerova locality lies on the southern and southeastern edge of Lhotka, on the southeast-facing right valley slope of the Olešnice.

The hills (U Kříže) [Lhotka u Přerova], ORECHOVA [PREROV-LHOTKA] and Na Kokorských kopcích [Nelešovice] are located in the immediate vicinity of Lhotka. The Růžový Kopec mountain is also located in the surroundings of Lhotka.

Cycling Tour

The 21st edition of the “Okolo mikroregionu Dolek” cycling tour took place on September 13, 2025, and passed through Lhotka.
